Pushchairs, mobility scooters and wheelchair users should access the Angel Inn Loddon via the Garden Room entrance at the rear.
There is no disabled parking, but the drive can be used for disabled drop-off.
We’re on the First Eastern Counties coast link route – stop at the Church Plain carpark coming from Norwich or at the Swan Inn, if you are on the way from Beccles or Lowestoft. Then walk 100yds up the street. We’re on the left.
More information, including bus times and routes, can be found here:
We welcome cyclists and walkers. Please let us know in advance if you intend to drop in en masse, however, and we’ll do our utmost to meet your needs by preparing for large parties ahead of time. Cycle racks and water top-up available. Dogs are welcome too!
Church Plain car park at the heart of Loddon is just a hundred yards away. The first two hours are free at any time of day and after 6pm all parking is free.

From the Yare, simply head up the Chet until the river is no longer navigable (approx 1 hour depending on tide) to Loddon Staithe. Then wander up the high street, through the village – we’re right at the top!
If there is no room at the staithe in Loddon, moor up at Pyes Mill and then follow Mill Road round in a loop to your right, up past the vets, until you get to the Angel Inn Loddon.
