The Angle Inn is developing a lunchtime & light-bite selection. We currently offer:
House Soup
Pork Rillette & Petit Pain
Mackerel Pâté & Petit Pain
The focus is, again, on the quality of ingredients. All soups are made in house with fresh ingredients (no tins here!). As well as house-made bread, the pork in your rillette is, of course, free range and rare breed, the pâté is crafted at the Angel Inn using the finest smoked mackerel from the Whightman Fishing Company in Lowestoft.
Bread for the rillette and pâté is baked to order, so please pre-book if you are going to be in a hurry.
Served with a choice of toast made in-house using stone-ground organic flour; choose from:
farmhouse sourdough or wholemeal, seeded spelt.
All soup served with toast made from our house baked bread* (choose form Ale House Sourdough or Seeded, Wholemeal Spelt)
*GF alternative available.
Note: other soups may be available depending on season

This dish goes well with range of beverages and we suggest: a ruby ale, our house Riesling, Whin Hill's Falstaff cider or even a bottle of Sekt or glass of Party Wine

We suggest a glass of the house white, a citrus pale ale or open a bottle of the sauvignon blanc to accompany this snack.
