Valentine’s Beer Festival
13th – 16th Feb 2026
As one of our customers says, “Every weekend’s a beer festival at the Angel”, but, after our winter recess, we always kick off with with something special.
Over 30 real ales and ciders, live music and pop-up food. The warm & hearty atmosphere created by our wonderful regulars after six weeks off is not to be missed!
St David’s Day
1st March 2026
St David’s Day ~ Choose from three courses: Leek & potato soup, Welsh rarebit, or Welsh cakes.
Mothering Sunday
15th March 2026
Why not take Mum out for a spot of lunch or book a platter in the evening for a special treat?
St Patrick’s Day
17th March 2026
St Patrick’s Day ~ Irish music, stout and Irish stew together with house baked soda bread.
Easter Weekend
3rd-6th April 2026
Enjoy the daffodils and Easter tree and a complementary mini-egg from the bar. If we’re lucky, it may be the first opportunity to sit outside in the sun.
St Georges Day
23rd April 2026
St Georges Day ~ a day trip out, usually results in fish and chips by the sea followed by a few pints of English, real ale!
May day (Early May) Bank Holiday

It started with May the Fourth be with you – Star Wars Day. This year is we are looking forward to dressing up James Bond theme with a casino in the piano room.
Next year will be “Rock & Pop Stars throughout the Ages”. Dressing up obligitory.

Loddon & Chedgrave Arts Festival
3rd-5th July 2026
As part of the four Loddon & Chedgrave pubs, plus the Jubilee Hall Club, running live music over the LCAF weekend, be sure to join in the fun at the Angel Inn, with Martin Sisley [aka The MoD One] playing some legendry hits.
